Bio
Andreas Karadjis is a Vietnamese-Greek-Australian writer/director based in Gadigal land, Sydney with a UTS degree in Media Arts and Production.
His work interrogates identity, memory and the medium of film itself - investigations which seem to question their own construction. This navigation exists in the intersection between his multicultural identity and (meta)modern reality, offering insights into the surreality of contemporary existence and culture.
He has collaborated with organisations including the NSW Premier's Department, triple-j, NIDA, Addison Road Community Organisation, creating video work ranging from anti-racism short films to music video. Every year since 2023, he has won across film, writing and photography at the annual Inner West Young Creatives awards.
